We have a reappearance of the 2007 Prague Pillow Fight Flash Mob. This time, at least 10 times the number of participants came to rejoice in pillow bashing merriment. No better way to rid yourself of that holiday shopping stress than by bashing your friend over the head with a giant pillow. Aside from the Prague Freeze Mob, and the protest against nothing, this must be one of the largest turn outs yet.

What I particularly like about this video is the age of the participants. It’s really nice to see younger people doing this sort of activity. The “smiley” made really popular through the Internet and Mobile phones is a symbol which we now encounter almost daily. Perhaps I’m looking into this too much, but presenting it in a consumer environment to mostly elderly shoppers really captures the difference between this generation and the others.

4,000 flash mob dancers startle commuters at Victoria

More than 4,000 clubbers danced through the rush hour at Victoria station in Britain’s biggest flash mob stunt. Revellers responded to e-bulletins urging them to “dance like you’ve never danced before” at 6.53pm. There were knowing looks and giggles among the casually dressed crowd that gathered from 6.30pm, wearing earphones. A deafening 10-second countdown startled station staff and commuters before the concourse erupted in whoops and cheers. MP3 players and iPods emerged and the crowd danced wildly to their soundtracks in silence – for two hours.
